Guido Kaus, born in 1966, studied piano at the Richard Strauss Conservatory in Munich as well as conducting at the Munich University of Music and Performing Arts. Following his studies, he was employed for ten years as a choral repetiteur and music director at various opera houses. He worked as a lecturer at the music universities in Augsburg and Munich and later at the music theatre academy and at music schools in Grafing and Munich. Alongside this, he taught theory and aural training courses for the Bavarian Regional Musicians Society. He frequently works as a conductor with a number of orchestras, and as an accompanist and arranger, among other places, for the Gärtnerplatztheater and the Munich Symphony Orchestra.
